Purpose:

feishin is a rewite of the Sonixd music player, which streams from jellyfin or navidrome servers. I personally use this to stream from my local library on a jellyfin server.

Benefits:

This package does not exist in the arch repos. Sonixd is available, but development has stopped on sonixd and feishin is now actively developed.

Building:

I have just created a clean chroot and ran the following 2 commands to build successfully. I had to install git in the chroot for the build to succeed.

1. arch-nspawn ~/chroot/root pacman -S git
2. makechrootpkg -c -r ~/chroot
