Enterprise Mobile App Development Workshop with Visual Studio and Xamarin

EnterpriseDev

Visual Studio and Xamarin provide developers with the best-in-class tools to deliver native Android, iOS, and Windows apps, using their existing .NET skills, teams, and code. On October 28, you and your team (maximum of 3 members) are invited to join our Enterprise Mobile App Dev Workshop, an instructor-led session where we will explore building rich mobile applications on the Xamarin platform.

In this session, you’ll learn how to: · Efficiently build cross-platform mobile applications with Xamarin technology · Seamlessly integrate applications with your company’s data services · Maximize Visual Studio and MSDN to enable high-performing delivery teams

##Troubleshooting

If you get this error:

Unzipping failed. Please download https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/support_r19.0.1.zip and extract it to the C:\Users\AppData\Local\Xamarin\Android.Support.v4\19.0.1\content directory.

Quick workaround: Clear all the folders in the location C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Xamarin and then Clean and Rebuild the Solution. This build might take some time (serveral minutes) as all the packages will be downloaded again by the Visual Studio.
