Feature Description

CRUD - Create Read Update Delete

Our users need to be able to manipulate the data on screen. We won't need to write an API for any of this but the concept still applies.

Major User Stories/tasks

• Ensure that # EPIC II - Data Initialization #66 is complete. This should secure the read portion.
• # User Story IV - Create New Task #126
  As a user I can create a new task by following an intuitive interface.
  • Build a user interface for a user to create a new task #193
  • Create functionality to modify the data that a new task has been created #194
• # User Story V - Remove Task #130
  As a user I can remove a task so that the interface does not get over encumbered.
  • Establish functionality for hiding a task, but not delete. An Archive essentially. #195
  • Provide users with a way of undoing the archive action. #196
  • Allow users to permanently delete a task after accepting a warning message. #197
• # User Story VI - Update Task #131
  As a user I can update a task so that I can intuitively change the provided options.
  • Create an interface for users to update tasks #198
  • Bridge a connection so this tells the backend that this update occurred. #199
• # User Story VII - Mark Completed #125
  As a user I can mark a task as completed so that I can effectively manage tasks.
  • Marking a task as completed changes the view to reflect it is completed #200
  • The "backend" is informed when the task is marked complete #201
• # User Story X - Assign Properties #132
  As a user I can assign a task type, title, description, frequency, and due date so that I can maintain an understanding of what tasks I have both completed and have yet to complete.
  • While creating a task users are able to assign the above properties to it #202
  • Creating a task with the UI tells the backend that this happened #203
  • After creating a new task it is reflected in the application #204
