If i startup mpide i get the following error.

Java program can not be started.
Not intercepted exception in main method.

(translated from dutch...)

The program has worked without any ploblems. But suddenly this message comes back every time.
I remove Java, reinstalled but no result.

I've tested the 20120903 version and the beta. Same result.
After a few hours of googling i did not find any solutions.

It runs on a macbook pro mid 2010 OS X 10.8.2

The first thing to do is to delete the preferenes.txt file. It may have a
bad setting in it. The boards list changed between those versions.

I've tried to delete the preferences.txt file. no succes.
The weird thing is, when opened i can choose mpide preferences top left, and change the settings, but only cancel works. Then the app completely quits.

This seems like the file may not have extracted completely, or is a bad
build.

I also need to confirm, 10.8.2 is that what you are running on?

It runs on Mac pro, the exact same files runs not on my macbook pro 17" mid 2010 8gb 2,53ghz
Mac pro runs 10.8.2 and macbook also.

Running app. copyed 1 on 1 to macbook. And gives the error.
It seems to be something with java.
I did try remove and reinstall java, but no luck.
