The patch is made for the version v1.0.3 (v196608) of the game. (You can check that by pressing + on the omori game in the console menu or by launching the game, after getting to the game main menu it will be displayed V164 at the top-left corner, if not you are on v1.0.2 or less)
For real hardware put the ips file to the folder sdmc:/atmosphere/exefs_patches/chowloader/
Then download the content of the romfs part here, and put the content of the chowloader-main folder in the zip to the folder sdmc:/atmosphere/contents/010014E017B14000/romfs/
