GNOME Shell Video Wallpaper

This extension allows to set video loops, video streams, and ordinary videos as desktop wallpaper.

Installation

Download the source, extract the archive, run make install, restart GNOME Shell (Alt+F2, r, Enter), and enable the extension through gnome-tweak-tool.

Known Issues

• Crashes gnome-shell after activation due to a bug caused by ClutterGst.init.
• Does not work if a XML file is used to set the background image.
