Michael Halcrow pointed out to me that a checksum is used to detect (and possibly correct) a few flipped bits, but a hash is used to detect malicious behavior. The draft needs to use these terms appropriately.

There was one use of the term "checksum" in the document, and it was appropriately used. I added a paragraph that explained the distinction between checksum, hash, and cryptographically-signed hash.
