I would like to silence the warning about missing attributes.

Can this either goto stderr or be silenced with a --quiet option?

Hi Adam,

yeah, the multitude of warnings is really undesirable. It was really just placeholder code to call attention to the fact that there needs to be some logic that can deal with missing elements.

Blake had an alternative suggestion: a missing attribute can have a JSON "null" to indicate its absence.

Another alternative would be to have a single warning sent to stderr. I'll probably do that just because it is easy, and we can add Blake's suggestion or some other logic based on an optional flag.

thanks

David
