Boot loader not detected for Mac OS X (10.9.5)

Mac OS X enchancements are planned in a few months. Keeping this item open as an enhancement, so it can be included later on.

Commit 2be968e added an initial test for the Mac OS X boot loader. Can you test if it is properly detected for you now?
