How to work on a UXR Interview Analysis issue/task

All the Interview Analysis issues are on the UXR Team Management board

Choose an issue that matches your training and skills

  1. Make sure you are onboarded (Google Drive and GitHub)
  2. Choose an issue from prioritized backlog
  3. Assign yourself to the issue
  4. Move the issue into the In Progress column

Read the issue from top to bottom

  1. You might be picking up an issue where someone else left off, or starting on a new one. Read the contents of the issue and its comments.
  2. Ask questions if you need to for the issue and for the instructions document for the first action item.
  3. If the instructions could be clearer, let us know how, we make this better by iterating together.

Reporting progress

  • Be sure to check the box when you finish an action item.
  • Report your progress weekly in a comment below using the following format:
    • Progress:

    • Blockers:

    • Availability
:
    • Estimated date of completion:

Stopping mid issue

Reasons:

  • Got personally busy, can’t finish
  •
Only want to do a specific type of task per interview
  • There is a blocker (e.g. instructions not ready yet) in the way of finishing and I still have time to work on other issues

What to do if you have to stop working mid issue:

  • Note your progress in the checkboxes
  • Add a note in the comments with details
  • Move the issue to the questions/review column
