For generic visual crew, CharacterNameType in the schema type supports a variant element which is designed to cover a situation where a character in a film is portrayed multiple times by different people. For example, a younger version of a character, or an older version, or an example where the character is distinctly different. One example would be Will Wheaton and Richard Dreyfus portraying the same character in "Stand By Me", or the many characters from "Interstellar" that were portrayed at different ages.
The <variant> element has also been used for voice acting, as a way of identifying that only the actor's voice was used for the portrayal of the character. That kind of works, but it's not exactly the best descriptive element name for that. Also, the confusion could come into play for situations where two different actors are playing the same version of a character, like David Prowse and James Earl Jones both portraying "Darth Vader".
I'm proposing the <aspect> element for rare situations where a character portrayal is a portion of the character.
