In this Wiki, I will detail each Node-Red automation (flow) - Discussion of each flow, intent, etc. is included on the page for each flow.

  • Presence (Presence detection, multiple users using Google Location Sharing)
  • Housemode (Time of day settings and automation driven during different parts of the day)
  • Lighting (All things to do with strictly lighting)
  • NFC (NFC tag automations)
  • WFH2 (Control what happens when either of us are working from home and if we leave or arrive during that time plus account for holidays and time off)
  • Climate (Take over the "smarts" of our Smart Thermostat)
  • WakeUp Alarm (A per user sunrise based alarm clock supporting dimmable lights, and radio to wakeup gently and naturally)
  • Entertainment (A specific flow to manage the house while we are using the home theatre, or entertaining guests)
  • Actionable Notifications (specific notifications that depend on user response from mobile devices)
  • Notification (all other notifications and mechanisms for notification)
  • System (Monitor device status, batteries, and test voice announcements)

Disabled flows (these flows are either for reference, for something planned or being tested)

  • VehMgmt (Intended to be a vehicle management flow, monitor has prices, alert when cost to fill up is too high, etc.)
  • Jarvis (NodeRed based, all internal (no internet), voice assistant for our home)
  • Comfort Trial (an attempt to build a flow for each person in the house and estimate relative comfort level (this is totally experimental)

Previously flows:

  • Vacation (Automatic, semi-irregular lighting schedule)
  • Scheduled Lighting (Turning lights on or off on a schedule and account for time of year, and changes in sunrise or sunset)
  • Motion Lighting (Trigger lights with motion and include timer to turn them off when motion is done)
  • Lighting displays (Different light displays setup for different holidays or celebrations)
  • HVAC (Control our comfort and track HVAC filter use)
  • +Comfort (New project to add dashboard, and comfort control "intelligence" for individual spaces, i.e. Office, Cave, Bedroom, etc.)
