CVE-2013-7040 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1039915) describes an issue based on submitting inputs with crafted values.

Is upgrading to Python 3 on the roadmap?

Migrating to a framework that does have support for Python 3 is on the roadmap: ckan/ideas#30 Until that migration is complete we're stuck on Python 2.

I'm going to close this issue for now, but if you have found a specific issue against CKAN please contact the core developers directly at security@ckan.org.
