I think that's likely to be an issue with client-side highlighting or another extension. To be sure, can you try disabling the clangd plugin and seeing what the highlighting looks like then? |

Progress: this seems to have been fixed after removing the .clang-tidy file.
Progress: Instead of deleting .clang-tidy, removing "modernize-*," from .clang-tidy seems to fix the problem.
