Beside the planned CAPI support to create and join worker nodes to Tenant Control Plane, it would be nice to have an agnostic way to setup and join worker nodes regardless of the Infrastructure and the machines' Operating System. Currently, the installation guide refers only to Ubuntu 20.4 LTS machines using the apt-get package manager to install kubelet, kubeadm, containerd, and related dependancies. As per TCP v1.25+, the installed containerd via apt-get stops to v1.5.4 and it is no more supported, see here.
