You obviously have no clue how to operate the configurator from developer side since you failed numerous times to deal with something so simple as version expiration dates which i implemented to help inform people with broken googleupdate, this check was implemented to help/inform people about potential problems, its not there to create confusion by your misuse.

Not counting the failure you made with keeping my analytics ID in your fork, at least god damn look what the hell are you pulling as i don't have all day to deal with issues that are created by your laziness and incompetence.

Learn to read damn licencing that is included in svg artwork files that you blindly pull with no regard to original author/s

Same goes for exported blender models that are used with the threejs

You seem to have misunderstood what open source is and how the GPL works. Forking open source code is not 'stealing'.

Fortunately, someone has kindly started a thread on Reddit where the commenters have offered some guidance on how open source works. I hope you find it useful: http://www.reddit.com/r/Multicopter/comments/2qabqh/baseflight_vs_cleanflight_facts_proofs_drama/

Thanks for point out that url, it was missed in the merge. I think I got the other ones sorted when i switched the code to use the github relases api instead of baseflight.net. I'll fix that ASAP.

I'll be looking to get someone to design new replacement artwork and have already asked a few people, we'll see how that pans out. However the GPL license appears, from my understanding, to cover all the files that make up the project's source including the models and icon, I may be wrong for sure and would like clarification and references on that point to, in the mean time and in the spirit of open source I will continue to use and host the files until this is clarified so the users don't suffer.

I also fired off emails to the respective authors last week.

Also your rant on Reddit is incorrect since there are two completly new tab in cleanflight configurator, there any many bugs fixed and it offers new features to cleanflight users that are not found in baseflight.

With regards to making configurator closed source, that's a shame but actually this works out good for the cleanflight project since now people will have no choice but to use cleanflight if they want to contribute to an open source UI and it also means i don't have to worry about porting and merging your changes in any more which will make it easier to add new features to it.

@maximan thanks for commenting regarding forking isn't stealing.

I will close this issue now, thanks and Happy Holidays to you too.

Just trying to figure out what your saying in your written statement. First is a configurator like programming language for people to write software? And if it is, you make peoples software (forcing them) to have an expiration date on their work? I wouldn't let google have that much control on my work, that it affects others...
