Couchpotato nzbToMedia fails but hasn’t? #1818
Comments
So the script worked correctly and asked CP to rename. |
Hi Clinton, Many thanks for your response. I have turned off the trailer and the script still returns a Logs here:I noticed that in the nzb log that there is a success message at 08:09:24
…which matches the exact timestamp of the message in CP (which is the last message in the log)
As you may have guessed I'm no expert here, but is it safe to assume that this is a CP issue not sending any message back to nzbToMedia to say that the status has changed? A setting I've missed somewhere perhaps? Thanks for your help with this. |
was there anything in CP logs after 08:09:24? Try enabling debug logs in CP (will need to restart after setting, and then in autoProcessMedia.cfg set
|
Nothing - that was the end of that particular log. I have tried again, with debugging on - couchpotato grabbing an nzb and sending it to NZBGet and it failed again. I'm seeing some permissions errors at FYI and I'm not sure if it relevant but my CP permissions are set to
and in nzb UMask is set to Thanks again for your help with this. I suspect it's user error so I appreciate your time trying to solve. 👍 |
what status does CP show for that movie? What is the output of
|
|
@clinton-hall that output looks all positive to my uninformed eyes. Are you able to pull any clues from it? |
I had a look and the script should be getting the status = done. So I don't know why it says status hasn't changed. What I notice is that my recent processing completes when the downloaded files are moved by CP (and not when the status changes)... this leads me to think that the status check is not working (anymore.... I know it did once upon a time). In short, I need to resolve this status check! |
I Just submitted a fix into |
Switched. First download processed successfully. 👏🏼 |
I have now merged into nightly branch. Please switch to nightly branch. |
Not sure if this is a script bug, CP issue, an incorrect setting/permission or something glaringly obvious (in which case I'm deeply sorry!).
When a wanted movie is sent to NZBGet and downloaded- nzbToMedia kicks in and ultimately fails.
INFO nzbToMedia: CouchPotato: Failed to post-process - No change in status!
However, on review CP shows the film as downloaded and the renaming and linking from completed to the Movies folder appears to have taken place.🤷🏻♂️
Whilst the outcome appears to be what I want (files seem to be renamed nicely and linked correctly) - thought I'd flag it in case there is something not right here.
Thanks 🙏🏼
