Release Notes

  • Added support for TLS connections to LDAP servers
  • Added support for TLS connections to SQL databases for nfsbroker’s backing store
  • New ops files to support Bosh DNS for test servers
  • Added experimental support for using credhub rather than a SQL database as the backing store for nfsbroker
  • Added experimental support for Ubuntu Xenial Lite stemcells. Since these stemcells do not include the nfs-common package and several of its depencies, this release includes those packages and installs them if necessary.
  • Added support for configuration of the nfsbroker catalog via bosh properties.
  • Fixed nfsbrokerpush errand so that when nfsbrokerpush.create_sql_security_group is set to true the errand only binds the new security group to nfsbroker’s space instead of applying it globally.

Known Issues

  • This release is incompatible with garden-runc-release < 1.3.0. Using it with an older garden release will cause read-only NFS mounts to fail.
  • As of version 1.3.1, the nfsv3driver job requires the mapfs job from mapfs-release v1.0.1 to be colocated on the Diego cell.
