When sending emails, the footer includes two links, one to the local Clowder instance, one to the Clowder website. I think this is creating confusion and users are clicking on the link to the main clowder page and then going to demo instead of their own instance. Should we remove it? Rephrase it?

I think this happened with a lot of users on CINet @max-zilla

Part of the problem is that we don't change the name of clowder in the customization link. For example in the case of CINET it sends:

This message was sent by CINET an instance of Clowder running 1.19.2#739
If you have any questions about this email please contact [the server admins.](https://cinet.ncsa.illinois.edu/clowder/email)

Maybe something else is:

This is an automatic message send by the <clowder> software. This software is installed as part of <CINET>.

If is not specified (i.e. still says clowder), maybe we can change the message to make this clearer:

This is an automatic message send by the <clowder> software. The actual instance of the software can be found <here>
