Try using gem 'effective_datatables', '>= 2.1.14'

I have tried this gem with SQLite and committed 3 fixes for SQL that wasn't working properly.

Give 2.1.14 a shot and tell me how it goes :D

Hi again @matt-riemer sadly it also fails on sqlite please check the mysql issue i had open before because mysql does still fail.

Hey again. Well this is great progress!! It looks like the original NULLS LAST error has been resolved, and the simple_form_for is a different error -- it means simple_form isn't installed --

I have added it as a hard dependency for this gem (that shoulda been done beforehand) and pushed the latest 2.1.15 version.

Yo @matt-riemer it works fine now with sqlite3 thanks!, but mysql still fails i have added the stacktrace to the other ticket.

Hey, I have actually tested with MYSQL!! Try running effective_datatables version 2.1.16 :)

Differences fixed include:

• using " vs ` to quote columns
• using ISNULL(column) instead of NULLS LAST in order by clauses
• using LIKE instead of ILIKE

DBMS differences suck :(
