Installation

  • Clone the repository and check the project's folder
  • The current software works with PostgreSQL RDBMS

rails-time-track folder

  • Create a .env file in the root path of the project and copy all content of file .env.example and set your credentials. Follow the instructions in the file.
  • Execute bundle to install all gems
    bundle install
  • Setup your Database
    rails db:create
    rails db:migrate
    rails db:seed
  • Start server
    rails server
  • Go to http://localhost:3000/api to check all the API routes

react-time-track folder

  • Execute npm install or yarn install to download the required modules
  • Run the frontend application with:
    npm start
    or
    yarn start
  • A browser window will open with with the address: http://localhost:4000/
