Upgrade to Foursquare API v2

As I understand it, FoursquareX will stop functioning on August 1st due to the deprecation of the v1 API that it relies on. (Right now I see a "shout" in my map view warning me about this and how I need to upgrade.)

It's such a great application, too bad there's no more development. I also downloaded and compiled it and nothing. Can we get some tips from the developer?

so is there no upgrades at all? cuz I could really use FoursquareX on my mac but it won't refresh or upgrade...
