Adding the precise cost of a New Building following the name would clarify things...such as Guppy Catcher - 600 min/cr. or Fighter Camo - 250 mineral/credits... fully spelling out 'mineral' and 'credits' might be less cryptic too. Maybe a: '*prerequisite' on all buildings that are required ones, namely yard and lab...maybe including info such as max of 4 levels allowed as well. An 'upgrades' button, that generates a mini help entry explaining how the price of upgrading works. Assuming that fighters might someday have multiple and independent upgrades, having the mini help list all available upgrades, might be sensible as well.

Another point to consider...a master 'Available Upgrades' help fully listing every upgrade, for every building, along with costing info might be of interest. Or maybe that's TMI...?!?
