Changing syntax highlighting #2610

Reproduction Steps:

  • Open a file inside a project
  • Down at the bottom of the file, try clicking the highlighting/file type
  • Nothing happens

Codenvy version: 5.22.0

OS and version: Codenvy.io

Codenvy cli.log output:

@Dog2puppy this isn't supposed to change anything. So, expected behavior.

Okay. Would like to be able to change it though because I’m working with .vue files which aren’t recognized meaning I’m using the plain text highlighting.

@Dog2puppy Codenvy is based on Eclipse Che which uses Orion editor. It looks like Orion does not recognize those files and does not have any out of the box support for syntax coloring.

Orion doesn't seem to have a issues tab on GitHub. So should I submit it to eclipse/che?

I have the same issue i want to use a .vue files in but there isn't a way to associate this kind of files

I'm trying out Codenvy with Vue.js, I hope syntax highlighting for Vue.js will be added.
