❔ Question

When I trying to add a new file I get an error: "Only a max of 200 modules is allowed in a sandbox".
Is there a possibility to remove the limit on the number of modules?

Link to sandbox: [https://codesandbox.io/s/km8lrz98y7]

Hey @krajcot,

the sandbox link does not work for me.

But I ran into the same issue and it is a bit disappointing.
Codesandbox is not suitable for larger projects with this limit.

I found another issue with a PR attached. #1007
Please consider raising the limit (only for patrons maybe) and/or explain a bit more about this decision, @CompuIves.

Edit: A comment that promised a raise of the limit. How's it going?

Hi @CompuIves,
I changed privacy policy of project to public, maybe it was reason that link did not work for you.
I thought, that limitations on the number of modules did not apply to patrons.
I'm preparing an application prototype and I need to use over 200 files.
If the codesandbox does not support more then 200 files, I'll need to use another tool.

Hey! I'll close this one as duplicate, we raised the module limit to 250 and will raise it further over the coming few months.

@CompuIves 1. your work is fantastic, 2. I tried to import a relatively small Ember project and immediately ran into this error (but 250 modules). Honestly surprised my project would even have that many, but I guess when you consider sub-deps?

Anyway to get the number raised on a per-project basis? I'm not sure how well this will work for me, but if it goes well, I'd be happy to pay for it

@CompuIves, hope you are well, whats the difference if its 250 or 2500, why does it matter?

Any updates on this? How many more years we will have to wait for the limit to extend?

Have a look at this: https://aws.amazon.com/cloud9/

Even a small project is going to have more than 250 files. Is Codesandbox not trying to compete with Cloud9? Am I misunderstanding the nature of the project?
