WSDL Analyzer

Description

A Sinatra app to parse and normalize a WSDL file so you can browse the operations and get the gory input and output details

Install

First get the source and the dependencies

% git clone git://github.com/coffeeaddict/wsdl_analyzer.git
% cd wsdl_analyzer
% bundle install

Then, make something happen to get the rack app running, like:

# gem install passenger
% passenger start

(where # means you need privileges, either by su, sudo or convincing an admin)

Bugs, Caveats, etc.

When analyzing the WSDL this sweet little app builds a DOM tree using Nokogiri. When analyzing rather large WSDL files, you could quite easily consume all the memory your webserver has to offer.

I don’t advice putting this in a public place unless you have some very decent hardware and know how to limit resources and traffic

About

A tool to make those horrible, horrible files readable
