Hi,

This is Hacktoberfest 2019 thus we have started to tag a few issues for the occasion and will continue in the next days! We are obviously welcoming any contributors and contributions whether they are direct code submissions or discussions.

Our contributing guide can itself be improved and there is at least one issue about this topic listed below concerning our very recent adoption of Poetry.

We have a standard Code of Conduct also and it is also good to have a read of it.

Without further ado, here is a list of tagged issues for all the Colour Science repositories ranked by estimated difficulty.

Easy Difficulty

• Claimed by @evalevanto: Implement support for "Poetry" for website.
• Claimed by @feralpoosum: Deprecate "colour.models.XYZ_to_colourspace_model" definition.
• Claimed by @BPearlstine: "colour.SpectralDistribution_IESTM2714.read" method should probably return "self".
• Claimed by @pavithraes: Fix missing spaces in "colour.encoding_cctf" and "colour.decoding_cctf" definitions docstrings.

Medium Difficulty

• Unclaimed: Implement support for Y'CbCr matrices generation.
• Unclaimed: Implement support for "A Perception-based Color Space for Illumination-invariant Image Processing".
• Unclaimed: Implement support for "Piecewise Power Curves" tonemapping operator.

Hard Difficulty

• Unclaimed: Implement support for "Spectral Primary Decomposition for Rendering with sRGB Reflectance".
