Hi guys, any updates on this? I'd like to translate to Ru and Uk languages.

@jgm So will CommonMark become multilingual after ver 1.0?
(I can take Simplified Chinese if anyone would like to know about)

It would be a good start to translate https://commonmark.org/help/ page only, so it can be used as basic usage help for end-users.

That's a really amazing project and I love it. If there is any plan to translate, please contact me at Gmail and I will provide a Chinese translation.

this might make more sense after the spec has stabilized at 1.0.

will CommonMark become multilingual after ver 1.0?

IMHO translating the spec is a futile and counterproductive endeavor. Translating the https://commonmark.org/help/ and https://commonmark.org/help/tutorial/ on the other hand is something I would like to contribute to.

That sounds great! Go for it and I'll be sure to add it!

Hi @coding-horror, can I submit a pull-request with this first sugestion?

It is a set of copy/paste English file to file-IsoLangCode (for example index.html to index-pt.html), with the "only content" translated to the other language.

I could do a Dutch translation using @ppKrauss ideas. A translation of both the help page and the tutorial should not be too much of a problem and most useful for those interested.
