you'll need someone to be willing to sponsor you to get a sponsor. Typically, this is something you'd do for an open source project that is important to you. Take Tim Pope's vim extensions, since I've created an entire development flow around them, I need to incentive him to maintain and enhance them. To encourage him to do so I could sponsor him or one of the packages |
