The + icon and file upload in Copilot may relate to GitHub's collaborative features, but for the most current information, refer to GitHub Copilot documentation or your code editor settings. |

When working on some code I ask questions and provide thrown errors to copilot. I click + and choose the file I am working on. But then copilot tells me it cannot read files uplaoded by me. What the heck is the + icon for anyway? "I'm sorry for any confusion, but as an AI, I don't have the ability to access or read files that are uploaded by users. I can only provide assistance based on the information and code snippets that are shared with me in the conversation. If you're encountering an error in your code, I recommend sharing the relevant code snippet and the error message with me, and I'll do my best to help you troubleshoot the issue."
