Patient Directory > Variant Navigator communication doesn't add PillView

When I'm in Patient Directory, and I choose the Open with > Variant Navigator option next to DNA ID, the search condition is added properly (because when I press the Search button in Variant Navigator the correct variants are filtered) but there's no corresponding PillView.
