What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Analyze my MGF file ( already sent to Marc Vaudel )
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see some peptide sequences. The program works through all 4736 and
completes OK. The crash occurrs when it is trying to make the output file. The
results screen shows up with all boxes empty and an error message saying to
contact the developers. ( I have the Java memory set at 8000 )

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
DenovoGUI1.3.6
Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi and thank you for reporting this issue. Seems that you are not being very
lucky. What were the parameters you used for the sequencing? I will try to
reproduce the error on my side.

Hi again,
I could sequence your file without any problem using default settings, the
results file are in your dropbox folder, you should be able to visualize them
in denovogui. Can you forward me the log file which you can find under "Help" >
"Bug Report"?
Best regards,
Marc

Hi and sorry for the delay answering,

After inspecting your files all seems to work fine with the latest version. As
far as I can see from the error log, the problem is that you were running two
instances of DenovoGUI at the same time. This was creating conflicts when
accessing the files on your disc. It is generally safer not to run multiple
instances of denovogui, we will try to make sure that the error is better
caught in the future.

Don't hesitate to contact us again if you encounter another issue.

Best regards,

Marc
