Hello, I have a personal preference for Mercurial over Git (please, let's not make the discussion about this). It would be awesome to be able to hook packagist up to my existing Bitbucket mercurial repositories, or to Mercurial repositories on my own server - I would prefer not to have to move everything to github.

@dsp said something about hg support. He may work on it.

Yes, I have to finish refactoring some stuff in the repository handling, then we should have an good abstract base upon which you can add other Vcs relatively easily. And indeed @dsp will probably take care of Hg.

This will be fixed once I do #37, hopefully this weekend.

Fixed in 8042857 - please test it and confirm, Hg should be installed on the server but I am no Hg user so it may be that stuff is not working.
