Netflix/Facebook implementation of RSocket:

RSocket is a binary protocol for use on byte stream transports such as TCP, WebSockets, and Aeron.

We're using it to gather telemetry data streams from multiple remote embedded devices where network connectivity and bandwidth are at premium.
