ECR login not working on registry-image resource, please help

I already opened an issue on this on the registry-image repo, and asked in discord, but I don't see much activity in registry-image and I don't see ANY activity in Discord, and this seems to be the right place...

Here's the issue I opened, but I'll recap as well: concourse/registry-image-resource#333

I have tried about every possible combination I know to with the credentials and region and repo for registry-image, and I've tried docker-image as well, and I can't get either one to work with ECR. If I can't get this working ASAP, then I will be forced to abandon concourse for another CICD tool, which, I'm starting to wonder if that's the right move anyways, given that the community seems to be mostly dead. I hope that's not the case, I really like concourse, so... help please?
