I didn't get your question about ICOs. |
I think he was refering to premining or instamining. |

Hi,
I need to have some coin in ICO (Coin Initial Offer), then I will sell
those coin to some people to get some money. After that I will enable
mining function.
Is there any easy way to get coin without mining?

Hey, Thanks |
If he does that, the address will have the coins, but the address won't
have a wallet.

Hey,
I see. What you could do is to change the genesis block and set it with a
dummy transaction with all the coins to a specific address. That way the
blockchain would start with the coins that are needed.
Probably you will need to tweak some variables, like the reward amount and
the difficulty formula.
Thanks

You can solve that by creating a new wallet using the same password. The wallet ID will be different, but the contents of that wallet, including the address, will be the same (assuming that you set that address in the genesis block). The wallet ID, in the end, doesn't matter, it's just a reference to the privKey/pubKey. Do you agree? |
