When running with Sync Gateway docker image in walrus mode (currently v1.5.1-community), requesting a view with stale=false does not force the view to update before sending data as per couchbaselabs/walrus#18

One solution might be to run Sync Gateway backed by a real Couchbase container in Circle tests, also the issue might be resolved in v2 so it might be worth exploring that - but am happy to explore others.
