No redirect from the tld to the first page

Hey,
i just checked the latest 3.0 branch an if you type in the domain sand.box you get redirected to sand.box/de/ and get a 404. If you want to see the site itself, you have to add the alias of the first page yourself. sand.box/de/home.html.

Since this neither occurs on contao.org nor on my test system, I suppose it is a local issue?

Hmm, it's my normal contao sandbox for testing new releases. So that should not be a difference.

You get this with the included music-academy.sql. Important is no language url aktiv.

The return link in that case is /index.php/ responsed by a 302 error

looks like a side effect form #4972 - after using the updated frontend.php the problem is gone.

I am still having this problem on some Sites. But not on all of them. Thats was confuses me a little bit.
