I was reading Docs and wanted to create a simple Cookiecutter template. So I ended up reading https://cookiecutter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial2.html# and was disappointed to see an incomplete basic tutorial. I spent most of my time trying to figure out how to test Cookiecutter template locally and it seems to me that the best option is to make a ZIP file and use it for running cookiecutter.
In this PR I tried to make a rounded up tutorial with a basic setup and to answer the most important questions that I had at the time.
This is my first PR, I hope it will be helpful. I'm looking forward to your feedback. 馃槉
