Is it possible to use Core UI on an iPhone X?

I've been trying to apply padding-top: env(safe-area-inset-top); to the header and some other points of the code in some trivial way but everything I try breaks the layout in some other way. Is there a simple way to use Core UI in this case?

Has anyone been through that or came up with a simpler solution?
