A common pattern on websites is to have a signup field for receiving an email newsletter.

Add a promenant field somewhere on the home template and add handlers for it to allow an export or bulk email.

this would probably be accompanied by some sort of conversion analytics
like you'd have with some luanch service like unbounce right?

I just pulled a ab-test request (without the analytics)
I may look at the analytics after I see the pull-request turn around ;-)
