@corneliusroemer are you sure the defining mutation of this one isnt Orf1b:N1790D instead of Orf1a:N2890D??

Orf1a:2890 has S as reference so i think it was likely a typo.

i dont find any seq with this mutation you added as defining in CM.8.1 ,
while the orf1b:N1790D was proposed a while back in #1554
