This lineage has a lot of diversity and has turned up all over the world but there doesn't seem to be much of it in any particular place, suggesting it might be more prevalent in some undersampled area. The S:346T/356T combination is convergent with BN.1, and interestingly there are several BN.1* branches with S:T572I; it may provide a small advantage though the evidence is unclear right now.
