We are delighted to announce the release of our capstone project, PYFOREST-Shiny. This project provides an RShiny dashboard that offers an interactive platform for exploring data and visualizations related to forest conservation regulations in Paraguay.

In this release, we have finalized all features and conducted extensive testing to ensure the reliability and user-friendliness of our dashboard. Here are the key components of this release:

Interactive Visualization: The dashboard allows users to visualize historical deforestation rates and land use plan (LUP) compliance statistics. It also enables users to analyze the impact of current and alternative LUP laws on forest conservation.

Prediction Analysis: Users can examine predictions of future deforestation patterns under various scenarios. These insights can support informed decision-making for sustainable land use and forest conservation policies.

User-friendly Design: The dashboard is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring that stakeholders with varying technical expertise can easily understand the impacts of forest policies on the Paraguayan Chaco.

This project is the culmination of our hard work and dedication over the past months. We would like to thank all contributors and our mentors for their support and guidance throughout this journey. While this marks the end of active development for this project, we encourage users and developers to use our work as a foundation for further research and development in this field.

Please refer to the project documentation for more detailed information about the project and how to use it.
