unable to install spp_1.11

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. nstalled all preriquisites
2. tried to install the package from within R:
install.packages("~/Downloads/spp_1.11.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type = "source")
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have attached the error message i get


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
spp_1.11
on mac OS X 10.9.2
