Hyper-V Requirements: A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. crc start
  2. login
  3. crc console
  4. oc get co
  5. oc get opsrc -n openshift-marketplace

Expected

OperatorHub displaying operators
OperatorSources status Succeeded

Actual

I want to use marketplace operators.
Docs say marketplace cluster operator is disabled by default, but co command returns available status:

C:\Users\GlennNonAdmin>oc get co

Have tried re-install (stop/delete/setup) more than once with same results. Have also removed .crc and .kube directories and reinstalled from binary, with same results.
Package info is returned from browser, apparently the problem is only from within crc.
Manually adding an operator source, for Spark radanalyticsio, produces the same error as for certified, community, and redhat operators.
Does marketplace functionality need to be added separately, such as for monitoring?
Or is there a problem with this installation of crc?

I am a little bit confused and looking into this now. Here we state the differences between the Installer installed cluster and us: https://code-ready.github.io/crc/#_differences_with_a_production_openshift_install

However, I am not seeing the scale down in

https://github.com/code-ready/snc/blob/master/snc.sh#L195 and further (edited)

And in the output you provide also shows:

marketplace 4.2.0-0.nightly-2019-09-26-192831 True False False

Note: this might be an issue in the nightly release. I'll update the docs around this as the marketplace should be available by default.

Fixed the documentation, as the marketplace is not disabled by default anymore.

Thanks for addressing this issue. If the operators have been enabled, then shouldn't the results of >"oc get opsrc -n openshift-marketplaceOperator Sources" show STATUS/MESSAGE of "Succeeded / The object has been successfully reconciled".

My results are:
"Configuring / Get https://quay.io/cnr/api/v1/packages?namespace=certified-operators: dial tcp: lookup quay.io on 172.30.0.10:53: server misbehaving"

The logs for the pod shows apparent issue resolving the package:
