Thanks for reporting an issue, to help us file this efficiently we made this template. Feel free to ignore the template if you wish :)

If this is a bug or a problem with one of our websites or page on one of our sites, please put the URL or page address here:

Please tell us the steps to reproduce the problem, if needed:

  1. I am from the marketing team of Cafe Bahar & Restaurant - since 1973, popular in Hyderabad and now we are adapting to new digital platforms like social media.

  2. So now the issue is that the Facebook page is this - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cafe-Bahar/194356810633300 - Unofficial page - This unofficial Page was created because Wikipedia Content from the Wikipedia article Cafe Bahar (contributors) licensed under CC-BY-SA. Freebase Content from Freebase licensed under CC-BY.

  3. So this licenced links redirects to creative common. We have even contacted facebook about this issue but could not get help. Anyone who searched for our business is redirected to this unofficial page for likes, page timeline and check-in's rather than our official page i.e,

Request you to kindly help in problem as you can update the content adn verify the above mentioned official page. Kindly let us know asap

Please tell us a little bit about how you're accessing the site or page, such as which web browser and which version of the browser:

(You can also vist https://aboutmybrowser.com/ which will give you a link you can share with us that'll tell us everything we need to know)

You can also attach a screenshot to this issue if you have a visual bug to report. That'll help us figure it out faster. http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/ has instructions on taking screenshots.

Finally, we're going to put someone's name here, so they get alerted to the new issue and can assign it to the right person. @robmyers @little-wow

Did you contact them as seen at this page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/cafebaharhyd/about/?ref=page_internal

Moreover, this isn't something that Creative Commons can handle, can it?

This Github is for bug corrections and technical issues, not content. Have you gone to https://creativecommons.org/about/contact/ yet? They can help you more.

I am starting to believe that this is a copyright or trademark issue. As said before, there is nothing that Creative Commons can do about this.

If you have contacted that user responsible for the unofficial page, but that turns out unsuccessful, then you may want to report the unofficial page to Facebook for copyright or trademark infringements. Please see the below pages:

EDIT: Can someone else close this thread please? This is not related to technical issues with Creative Commons website.

@gho87 is correct (thank you for your help @gho87 !), Creative Commons is not the author of these pages, just of the licenses, so @sweekarbhushan you will have to contact Facebook directly.

Yes! I did that initially before getting here! but facebook customer support has clearly mentioned that as visible in the unofficial page that it has been created & licensed by wiki/cc/freebase. From there i started my journey till here.
