v0.0.4 Pre-release
Pre-release

This release requires the provided versions of crowdsec and firewall bouncer. Keep in mind you are testing them as well.

If your system does not provide it, the re2 library is included. It is used by crowdsec to improve log parsing performance.

If you have already installed crowdsec without this package, you need to remove it (including /usr/local/etc/crowdsec, /var/log/crowdsec*, /var/db/crowdsec*) and let the pfSense package do the initial setup.

install the three packages with "pkg install" and don't do anything else (no service enable, pf.conf etc)
on the pfSense admin menu, visit Services -> CrowdSec
follow the instructions and thanks for reporting any issue

Changes:

  • crowdsec 1.5.4
  • firewall bouncer fixes - including process not responsive to termination signal whan lapi is down
  • fix syntax errors in rule file -- tag name validation etc.
  • fix bouncer configuration with remote lapi
