An inventory of future glacial lakes in High Mountain Asia including mass movement impact hazard assessments to anticipate emerging threats.

This dataset comprises two shapefiles:

  1. a subset of all subglacial overdeepenings with a surface area >105 m2 including information about morphological characteristics, slope hazard score as well as a lake hazard level combining slope hazard and lake volume.
  2. a more complete inventory of subglacial overdeepenings (surface area >104 m2) including information about morphological characteristics and a slope hazard score.

For this release, we added the complete code (Python and R) together with additional information on how to use it. This release also features a new repository structure and updated README files.

This dataset comprises two shapefiles:

  1. a subset of all subglacial overdeepenings with a surface area >105 m2 including information about morphological characteristics, slope GLOF hazard score as well as a lake hazard level combining slope hazard and lake volume.
  2. a more complete inventory of subglacial overdeepenings (surface area >104 m2) including information about morphological characteristics and a slope GLOF hazard score.

This release features improved column naming as well as updated README and METADATA files.
