I started the application and selected a vault from the vault list. In the vault detail screen the message "An error occured loading the vault from disk." is shown and i can display the error details. I am not able to unlock my vault

I have also recently faced this issue, the backup file seem to be last modified last year after which I have uploaded lots of data, will I lose all of that? |

Hi. I just downloaded Cryptomator on my MacBook Air (MacOS version is Version 14.2.1 (23C71)). Moreover, as advised, I installed FUSE-T via Homebrew. However, when I try to add an existing vault, the following error:

I compressed the App file and it somehow worked. I am not sure why, but it did. I will look it into it and then comeback to explain what actually happened. |

The reason for the error is empty/illegal content in the
vault.cryptomator
file of your vault (e.g. the file is empty).You can solve it by replacing
vault.cryptomator
by its backup:vault.cryptomator.XXXXXXXX.bkup
where XXXXXXX is a random combination of letters and nubmersvault.cryptomator
, overwriting the existing one.The backup file is either created or compared with the vault config on every succesful unlock or migration.
